Their softs are really good. I have a pair of GM gloves from the ben stokes range still going strong after 2-3 years of use.

£64 for a pair of gloves is seen as good value now?
Prices have gone scarily high in the last few years, haven't they

Where have you seen 64 quid ? Heard of shopping around … 808 standard is much lower in retail

Do you always look and buy at the highest price and I assume hardly anyone would purchase from gM website if they were even remotely price conscious …

A quick google search will show prices around that mark, in any case they're at least £55 + postage.

There always used to be additional retailer margin/discount on the 808 range, as a reward for meeting the GM 5 star dealer criteria, hence more favourable pricing being found on that particular range I'd imagine.

They do sell at RRP to try I think and encourage the support from retails. For example the LE pads are around £140-£150 from most retailers but still very expensive as are all big brands softs and as from what we heard the only companies that have paid for testing are Chase and Aldred I believe but of course could be wrong. Very nice softs though best of the big brands in my opinion
Pretty much all of the big boys have paid for testing. As far as I’m aware , only GN are not doing any testing. As a side note, Aero have had to have their kit tested, and as a result their prises have risen also .

No 5 star dealers anymore, it ended 3/4 years ago.

Feel free to share, that's a better price for the 808 range for sure.

Paying for testing and having certification are two different things

True but what would be the point of paying for testing and not going through with certification at some point soon ? If needed
