Morning everyone,

Looking for some recommendations please on duffel bags. Would like one that has 3 bat pockets/sleeves if possible.

Many thanks

JT
The New Balance Heritage wheelie Duffle is a great option , three internal bat pockets, outside pad pockets, shoe pocket and drink pockets

The new GN legend duffle seems like it could tick all the boxes, but haven’t seen it in the flesh

That's the one I'm using at the moment. Lots of room, loads of pockets, hard wearing.

I may not be as particular as some on here but I like it!

Do people like wheels on duffles, so many I like the look of ruined by that.

My experience is that the wheels and structure make it worse as a backpack and the lack of structure (compared to a normal wheeled back) make it poorer for using like that.

I had a wheelie duffle last year, two biggest issues were that the wheel base makes it a nightmare to fit into a smaller boot because it can't be squashed and that the added weight of the base made it feel like carrying a ton of bricks going uphill. Got a standard duffle for this year and the weight difference is really noticeable despite the new one actually having more storage space.

The 2023 one? Or an older version?

2023 :)

Nice. They claim there is a “revolutionary” wet clothes pocket now… is that the one on the front of the bag?

Yeah, not the biggest so not convinced it's that much of a revolution if I'm honest  :D

Will take some pics for you tomorrow when I'm at nets.

Looks great and amazing with plenty of space for everything and anything along with a very affordable price tag especially with other bags retailing at over £100.

Does anyone have a recommendation for something that is quite small/light, but good quality and can fit a basic kit in?
I’ve got a main bag, but prefer something lighter for travelling on the tube to nets etc. with just basic kit.
I was using a cheap Slazenger one, but it’s started to fall about now (as expected!)

GM and GN entry level ones are about £35 and if you just want pads, gloves and lid you will be ok. One one seems to do the old big bag style duffle bag that was just perfect as a net bag etc.

Yeah would recommend the GN Academy bags - I've used an older version for a few years now, perfect for nets or evening games etc when you don't need loads of extra kit.

Just in the process of getting a sample of my new bag, which has been delayed due to various changes to the design. Essentially will be a wheelie duffle which stands even when completely empty, with 3 seperate padded bat tunnels where the wheels don't get catch on the bats. Will also have side pockets big enough for keepers pads kit, plus a front opening to access kit easier, rather than only going through the top section.

I'll post pics when I have it.
