Been using New Balance CK10s for the past few years and would recommend them, heavily padded so feel a little weird initially but once broken in they're lovely.
ASICS are generally the best but it's just the cost of them now, a few UK brands are selling them but that's post-import from Aus so the prices are up there. Spiked trainers wise, if you're going to do it at least make sure it's a decent pair of trainers/tennis shoes that have suitable ankle support already - most of the brands flogging pre-spiked trainers are using proper basic trainers which just aren't fit for purpose (yet still cost more than a cricket shoe designed exactly for cricket!).
