Why not get 2 helmets? One with a bigger peak for sunny days and one with a smaller peak for cloudy days!?

I use a bat with a low middle and one with a high middle. I vary it. And they were the small mens version and I'm 5 9 ishh. And yes I know about the grips it does pick up light which is why I'm going to buy a similairly light bat. After listening to opinions I'm going for

2 x Custom Made Bats ( high + low) NO NET BAT
1 x Pads CONCESSION
2/3 Probably 2 x gloves 2 not 3
1 x duffle
1 x kit bag
1 x ACIS Elite
1 x thigh pad
1 x spikes
1 x trainers

Couple pairs of inners, sweatbands etc.

So you've basically gone against everything we've said. Seriously, who are you? Ricky Ponting?

How ever many days you play, 1 bat, 1 decent pair of gloves and pads would last you 2 seasons.

And ponting probably dealt with the bare minimum of kit until he made it into top grade cricket. Being sensible enough to not spend too much money, instead working hard to get better so he could get paid to have kit!

Honestly I don't like inners but if they work as well as I'm told then I might. Not sure tbh Liam, I might, merely because I can :)

also I might get 3 pairs of spikes, each with a different spike configuration, also different trainers for every indoor training venue, perhaps I'll get a slave to change my bat if two ends of the pitch are different? What ya reckon?

1000 runs Inc net sessions. Let's say u score 20 in a net session and average 20 when u play. 1000/40 is 25 nets and or matches!

Colesy do you know me?

In the country wide county competition I was the joint top wicket taker. NATIONALLY.

Oh and with the bat (my second trade) I averaged 35.8 for county.

Not a bad year

Ok great but still you are 14! And with spikes i wouldnt put it past you.

As freddie says "we'll see where you are in 10 years, this game has a funny way of biting you up the a**!" "bet you wont be here! (playing vounty cricket)"

But good luck to you, dont forget to post pics of your kit, if it all fits in 1 photo!

My bat's got me 1000 runs this year still going strong and you were joint top wicket taker, but not anymore. No 14 year old should be spending that much on equipment when they're not even facing really good bowling. U15's at county you're looking at 75mph tops. I know as my Glos U-15's mate bowls 70 when he puts it in.

I'm sorry but you're not good enough to warrant all of this gear.
