Bit odd that they are prepared to invite competitors into their factory to see their secrets, but, not let them take photos. Unless they are making you sign an NDA

seems a bit mad doesn't it?

However, who better to appraise and discuss GM? I don't imagine any of the visitors are in a position personally to act on the technologies they will see and I would be amazed if GM hadn't vetted them first.

I think he has stopped working for Lekka and might be looking to start a brand of his own,

I am not sure what his link with Monster Energy is, but i think he will just sell the stickers,
