I didn't grab any pics of the new bats, but they are being used now anyway!

But I did manage to grab some pics of bats from last century (including that Aluminium bat mentioned earlier!) and the century before that, and possibly the century before! Pics to follow!!!

I have always wondered how come these century old bats are still in very good shape and hardly have any cracks and compare to todays bat they crack in first net session, why is that?

Also great pictures pete very enjoyable I must say

Cheers CD - unfortunately I only had the camera on my old iphone 3, which is bearly ok quality!
Wish I had of had the iphone4 camera as it takes better pics!!

I think both Mike (Talisman) and myself would have had that Aluminium bat away if either of us would have been wearing a baggy jumper! A real piece of cricketing history and a very rare addition to anyones collection!!
