I'd like to suggest a feature if I may...

Can we show users' trader feedback rating at all times - ie next to users' avatar? Right now the only way to see this is to go into a user's profile. If I had not read blankbats post in his section asking for people's trader feedback, I wouldn't even know this feature existed. This should be fairly easy to implement as I see this feature on other forums I participate in.
I suspect that they are running a newer release of the software. Due to some of the mods in place, upgrading CBF is not straightforward, so we are unable to implement these features at this time.

This x a lot, the feedback system has plenty of room for improvement.

Kulli, those words of wisdom lack a significant factor. We can't read your mind, so if you could provide detail of how it might be improved in your opinion, we'd all be a lot wiser... ???

I agree with Ciaran on this. Nothing against those lurkers but there should be perks for those contributing to the forum. Not saying Tush is wrong because quality of posts are as important as the volume. However, by not having the sale board live to sub 50 posters, the lurkers (sorry for the tag) have actually posted. Kind of proves a point doesn't it.

True the "Lurkers" have started posting. But is it just to reach 50 posts or to actually and truly contribute to the forum topics?

Making it more easily visible(next to post count maybe), finding some sort of incentive for people to fill it in, or at least trying to make it the done thing. I'm pretty sure it's all been discussed before. At the moment it's a nice idea bu nobody uses it at all. Not saying it'd make all transactions perfect, but it'd give a bit more of a heads up on any chancers.

well it would be a shame if it was just to reach 50 posts and rather support some of the reasoning for doing it. I would hope in that race to 50 posts they'd discover the joys of interacting with fellow forum members and not just consider it a bargain bin.

And if it is just to reach 50 posts it invariably becomes obvious so they get their post count reset anyway....

Everyone wants something for nothing these days don't they?  >:(

Exactly... It's a bit suss if someone reaches 50 posts and then instantly just like magic a for sale thread appears.... Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work it out.... Or an engineer  ;)

That is true. I stumbled upon this forum while searching for reviews on certain bat. I loved reading through what fellow members have posted and I have learned more about bats from one single source (this forum) than any other sources combined. It took me 10 attempts and 2 moths to become a member. I would not have made so many attempts unless I genuinely enjoyed the forum. Not just posters but readers also contribute. I am sure people post for fellow members to read their opinion. I just feel the idea is a bit discriminatory. I am sure some members who support the idea of 50 posts would have at some point sold to a fellow member with less than 50 posts  :)

I used it the first few times, but then found it was being used less and less by others as the forum grew.

I used it once for and said to the person that I was doing it. I expected him to do the same but did not. I have not used it since as I don't see why I should if others do not.

Like I said, some osrt of incentive to fill it in would be ideal, but I've no ideas right now for that that could be  :(
