Amazing game today. We played a team a couple of divisions above us and they posted 263 in their 40 overs on the same pitch we used to get 266 in 45 overs the day before. I bowled 3 overs of leg-spin at the end and got 1-27 with a drop catch and 2 sixes although I didn't bowl badly, they were good shots.

We got off to a good start but after 20 overs despite being up with the rate we had lost 6 wickets and it started to drizzle with us needing 100 runs and them needing 3 wickets. Our number 9 renowned for having a swing hit 2 early 6s and went on to get 53* with 3 fours and 5 sixes winning us the game with 2 wickets to go and one over. Top game!!

Yesterday we played Roco's lot! Was a good win for us and puts us top as the team who were top got beaten!
So its all to play for in the last three games now.

Played in a local presidents day today with TommYDeeeee off here. They scored 241 off 35 overs. They were 100 off 10, but we bowled well to pull it back, i got 4 - 42 off 10. We got close but gow bowled out ten short in the end, i got 89 with 11 fours and 7 sixes.

We had a charity 7 a side tournament yesterday, in memory of a team mate and coach who died 7 years ago. He was actually my coach at the time.

In the first game we were chasing 26 off 5 overs, I decided not to open so I could open in a harder game, as we had to rotate the batting order. When I did get the chance to open, I found it really hard to just go out and hit the ball. Hit a couple of nice 4's and then go out caught slog sweeping. I then had my eye in for the last 2 games where I hit some nice runs.

It was a good day and we raised around £400, it was a shame that th team that won didn't really rotate their order and one of them took it very seriously (he is a dick though, and called me a cheat earlier on in the league season).

Jord, if you are just trying to wind jon up please don't.

Jon, you could give him the benefit of the doubt and give him a straight answer?

Until I see the end of season totals, no I can't give a straight answer, hence why I have not participated much in this thread. I have no interest in posting personal achievements, hence on the weeks I have done well, I post in this thread as much as when I have a poor match. :)

Yes used it for two knocks of 37 and 44 but got a beaut yesterday that pitched middle took off which was too good for me as there was an easy not out there but that's the way it goes
