Not setting the world alight so much so that he was dropped to the twos evidently!

I'm guessing he'll be back in the ones next week.

Either that or the ones were reained off and they sneaked him in? Either way something a little wrong.

more likely he doesn't play for them and somebody paid him £200 to turn up and perform. Either way it should be wiped off the record books.

Selection done this weekend and I'm in the 2's. Bit dissapointed to not make the 1's at my new club seeing as I was in the top 20 run scorers in their league last year, but playing for the 2's this week and I'm gonna have to prove myself!

After 2 Sunday (our only games out 7 senior sat and sun teams) matches into the Saturday leagues this weekend for the 5ths against Englefield Green A.  Hopefully I won't be just holding up an end, and will actually be able to play a few more strokes than I have been as of late!  Hopefully it'll stay dry as we're on a council pitch that as of yet hasn't been played on and Woking BC in their infinate wisdom had a May Fayre there on Monday!!!

Had our National cup first round game cancelled and decided on the toss of a coin yesterday. Needless to say, we lost and our cup adventure is over for a year. Looks like Saturday might be cancelled too, and still can't train..... Brilliant!!

Got roped into playing for the midweek team last night, umpires were not impressed and didn't want us to play but the captains decided that the bowlers could only run up from 5 yards as it was so boggy but the pitch was fine! Went in at 4 was knocking it around nicely until I got ran out backing up, never happened to me before and I think it is quite possibly the worst way to get out! but the rain eventually came two overs later and the umpires very quickly jumped into their cars and drove home. Was just nice to be out in the middle though

Managed to play my first game of the season on Saturday, opened the batting and scored 51 off 39 balls and took 2-6!

We bowled them out for 97 and we chased it down in 17 overs!

Not a bad start to the season!

Forecast isn't too bad for the next few days here in Brizzle so looks like I'm playing Phoenix West Indies and Calne. Good times.

Can't see our game vs portishead being on as pitch simply isn't dry enough to have any work done on it :(

Still clinging onto my average of 96 from last season on a Saturday ;)

Was down the ground tonight, looked pretty wet and was fairly slippy! Forecast is supposed to be brighter for weekend though fellow Bristolians?

Playing for the 2s today back on our 'home' pitch albeit on the artificial. Massive thanks to YMCA CC for allowing us to do so as not many clubs would like to.

After rolling the outfield midweek I hope that I did a good enough job and no-one loses any teeth haha. Also give us chance to use our new electronic scoreboard (ooooh)

Good luck everyone today :D
