Saw this one at the weekend, I believe the A O'Brien used to be on here as aidy1098 or something similar.

Larger lad and a bat held together with electrical tape, I have a new idol!

Legend, but he was batting on a small ground:-

That is tiny!

Having said that, I've played on a ground that small and thought - how hard is it to just knock them over that straight boundary? I can hit every other ball for six! I got tied up by the spinner and stumped for 4, so I know from experience that a small ground doesn't make batting easy.

This happened in our league at the weekend...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/33677604

Having been out a few times to him myself I can confirm he's a really good bowler and to my mind as good as some of the young lads on the county circuit at the moment.

I'd imagine @Vitas Cricket is a little annoyed about the shirt/picture as most of the Peterborough lads have Vitas clapped on their shirts.

Played in this on sunday ... no idea why in a result cricket match that the other team decided to bat so slowly... they also won the toss and chose to bowl first with 9 men !

https://haroldwoodcc.secure-club.com/scorecard/fixtureID_397947/Twenty20-v-Benfleet-25-Jun-2014.aspx

We won with 9 players bowling first in a 2020 game last year.

Made sense to us, best chance of winning was chasing as second innings no score would ever have been enough due to the gaps in the field on offer!
