Division 4 of the Sussex County League, not Prem.

Good bowler, and taking Mayfield up through the leagues. They joined the County league this year and are getting promoted straight away. Good luck to them.

I'm not sure his action would stand up to scrutiny though.

From our league this weekend. Good day for all involved.

Not outrageous in terms of some of these games, but our Kiwi had a good day a few weeks back...

I's love to know what happens after these games a side is bowled out for 12 or 15 or sommat. Here's a suggestion for those not able to go home early to the misses/dog/mistress/ps2.

the wibbly wobbly game. You need a/11 halves of lager.a club cap/a stump/a tray to hold the lager
place the stump 22 yards away,put the club cap on the stump, line up 22 yards away.

down the lager in one, run to the stump,put your head on the cap and turn round 10 times, grab the cap and run back relay style to your next team mate who does the same thing.
You won't finish the game and there's no winners but try running back in a straight line..

We knocked over a team for 40-50 odd once, knocked it off for 1 or 2 down and then played a t20. It depends who the team is and how willing they are after getting smashed. We reversed our batting order and won the t20 by 70 odd runs. At least all players got to bat and bowl.

This is from earlier in the season at my club, I believe it is a Kent Regional League record for highest margin of victory as well as lowest total from 1 team!

As per my post in the 2015 season thread, I dodged a bullet on Saturday by playing for our firsts as this is how our seconds got on;

http://pontefractdcl.play-cricket.com/website/results/2329747

This was after winning the toss and deciding to bat on a wicket that was apparently green, wet and never been rolled as the club don't own a roller.. Crazy!  :o

Pretty much the same happened to me a month or so ago. Waiting for my lift Saturday morning and a first teamer turns up and tells me I'm in the firsts, get a text later on to say me and the usual 2nds skipper were badly missed.....

17 a/o chasing 200odd for 1! Lucky escape from a personal point of view!
