As Smilley says. Khan are a seriously good team although Collegiate CC have been known to play good players in lower level teams when promotion is a possibility. M. Simpson turned up to play against my clubs 4th team in a winner takes all match. Pleaded shortage of players when it went to league committee. A churlish club at the best of times.

I don't think I've ever seen a winning margin bigger than this

Thats not cricket.

I mean it can happen and it was 3rd plays bottom but still... how an earth can the loosing team keep their players motivated to play...

I think the comment in the Highlights section on the Play Cricket scorecard says it all.....

"Apologies for the lack of Buckhurst Hill names but I cannot match the majority of names as written in the book with players registered on play cricket and consider three hours to be more than enough time trying to sort this out."

So the opening bowler took 8 wickets for the loss of 2 runs in 5 overs.  What was he bowling, see he's recently played in an u19 tournament as well.

Has anyone seen a collapse like this one?

I'll try and dig out the scorecard but it's about 10 years ago so not sure if it's around...played away at Stokenchurch, we batted first and got 220 I think. They were 218-4 And collapsed to 219 all out!

We had one at Uni - away to Keele.  We were 201-2, Finished up 208 all out.  Though to be fair, that was the last five overs or so of the game (I got a brilliant red ink 4, if you're interested?)

Oddly, Keele nearly did the same - they were 190-2 and got the total 9 down with their number 11 hitting back to back fours.

Bit embarrassing for our 3s this week.

Oppo only had 6 players so we gave them some fielders.

Having bowled them out for 9 we let them bat again, they managed to get to 10 second time round!

Fair play to them for still showing up I guess
