not at all Adey, just dont want to underestimate a side who must be half decent to be playing in that division. Perhaps you should try it. Cricket has a knack of biting you in the ass when you think you have it sussed.

Good luck for tomorrow everyone.

Not got it Sussed at all, hence why I train so hard and strive to continue to improve but at 31 and with a dodgy knee there is no point bothering to try for the 'big' clubs. Might as well just play below it and enjoy the cricket.

To quote playing below you have to average 50 in the league your playing in i think..

Good luck all some new bats needed Monday :o

Looks like maybe half played against you Adey. Sure it will be a tough game. Any game after a 2 hour bus trip it tough !!

Quite a few players in their team for tomorrow that I don't know there and I was playing for their 2's at the start of last season before I moved home from Uni.

Heeeeerrrrrreeeee we go!  First game of the year today, against Hampton Wick Royal II's, over at their place.

Been a strange build up this week, as a bowler and no.11 batsman, I've been and honing my dibblers indoors this winter.

This week, at outdoor nets I couldn't pitch it and bowled like a drain, then indoors I batted really well (for me) and bags full of confidence with the bat!

Probably end up keeping today!  ???

First game today. Made it through about five overs.
Now sat in a&e waiting for an X-ray on suspected broken finger.
Not the best start to the season  :(

First match of the season today ! For my schools first XI, After spending the first half of the winter injured and the other half building back, it could really not have gone better, 4-19 of four overs in a t20 against a school of genuine monsters and small boundaries :D unfortunately we lost the game due to some genuinely shocking batting against average bowling, 2* for me there coming into the 17th over

First game as skipper of the 1's today.

Bowled John Fisher out for 40 in 16.4 overs
We got it with the loss of 1 wicket after 8.3 overs

I managed a cheeky 20*
