Yeah we've had a couple of shockers. Luckily we had one of the top dogs last night and he knew what he was doing. Some of them are literally there for the paycheck though and know nothing about cricket and have blagged their way in.
Last night we had:
1. A bouncer that went over head height that was unreachable by the batsman not called wide, but was signalled as the one for the over.
2. The umpire didn't understand the Powerplay rule and complained to our captain that the field was not set as 4&2, even though that is only optional
3. The umpire failed to inform the batsman that the bowler was coming around the wicket!
All good fun.
