Another away game and it looks like I'm driving again!
Wish my lift share from last year hasn't moved out of the area  :(

If we win today we'll be 6-2 and definitely looking at the right end of the table at the halfway stage. Bad news, half the team have gone on holiday! We only have a 17 week season, surely Magaluf will still be there come the end of August!   >:(

Seems a similar thing in Witney, though Menorca has called.

Manage to get 11players Won by 4 wickets today on a track with plenty of pace and bounce batted for 22overs before nicking one to the keeper waiting for the other results to see if we have gone top of the division.

Lost the toss and asked to field first on the hottest day of the year.
3 and a half hours later they had 277-5 from their 50 overs.
I took 2-35 off my 10 (the last over of my spell, 49th of the innings went for 13 which ruined my figures)

We were then 135 all out after 31 overs in reply. I made a solid 0* having a blocking session

Hard deck and fast outfield but we restricted the oppo to 186ao.

Lost a wicket in the first over of the reply, so had to pad up. Was next in when we got there comfortably, our no3 scoring a good 100*. So, Pad rash, home early, bit bored now.

Played away today, we won a toss which is only the 2nd in 11 games. We batted first and scored 243, which was always enough. We bowled them out for 160, I got 3-43 off 10, short straight boundaries ruined it for me really. But at halfway stage of Saturday season, and having made the step up to the two's I've taken 17 wickets!

Played for my new clubs first team today in East Anglia Prem started really well e son the toss and at lunch had them 125-8 took a lovely diving catch to dismiss No3 bat and then another. Ore regulation catch to dismiss oversea's player. After lunch it all went wrong, shelled a couple of catches that would have finished the innings off nice and quickly and they went on to post 224 from there 64 overs.

Batting wise we got off to a bad start losing both openers inside 5 overs then out 3rd wicket and 4th wicket quite quickly to find ourselves 40 odd for 4. But a great partnership between our skipper and No 6 high scoring 50's put us in a great place to owe out the game but we lost a wicket but had 17 overs and 4 wickets to get 40 odd runs. I came in at 9 with us still needing 30 odd and managed to face about 8 balls nicked to slip and was dropped then out next ball LBW for the 5th time in 5 innings this season. Not a great way to start my prem career for new club.

Meet a lad for the oppo (Norwich) who visits the forum, can't remember his name but he opened and batted well for 50.

35 runs off 34 balls. First time my strike rate has ever been over 100. Its usually sub-50 as well!
Absolute run fest to be had out there, but unfortunately top edged and caught, too eager trying to smash a full toss.

Lost as well to make matters worse.  >:(

Lost the toss and were asked to bowl first.  The visitors amassed 174 all out, I bowled slow off spinners and got 1-30 from 9 overs.  Usually bowl 1st change seam up so a bit of a change for me today.  After being my clubs top run scorer for the past 6 seasons I have been getting quite down of late with a top score of only 15 and two first ball ducks already.  Anyway, it all came good today as I managed to score 93no as we knocked them off for 5 wickets.  Unfortunately I will now miss the next 3 games through shift work! :-(.  Tonight we have gone back top of our league.  :D

First ball the guy tried to leave it with hands up...the ball nipped in n he started walking. We were on on Top 14/1 8overs and skipper asked me to warm up for bowling. Unfotunately there was heavy showers for half an hour n the ground is like a little pond. Pity was that we waited two weeks for the game and it washed out although rain was not prognostigated:(

Got 4 with the bat yesterday. Bowled 18-4-72-6  18 overs straight. Fair to say the body is feeling it this morning.
