Yes - and if you are out without scoring after an interruption in play due to the weather, then that is a Tupperware Duck.

Isn't that the first ball after tea?

Depending on where the tea is from, it is sometimes called a Toilet Duck.

Played down in Brighton last weekend, strange game. Slightly wet pitch, oppo chose to bat and went off as though it was a t20. Took a catch in my brothers first over opening up leaving them 17/1 from 2. They kept going for it like mad, got another catch off our other opening bowler, both of which were from a somewhat unorthodox position, somewhere between an extra cover and a wide mid off but 10/15 yards further back in case of balls sticking in the pitch and going up in the air. First catch was back pedalling and easily in, other one was smashed about 10 yards to my left, just ran round and took it. Got 1 wicket, caught at cow, then didn't bat in our chase of 160 as we won by 7 wickets. Oppo were all out in 29, and we used 30 something overs to chase them down for a 30 point win :) Par was probably about 250, ground was pretty small and pitch played fine as it dried out, so a satisfying win.

That's a duck the morning after two many sherberts and a dodgy Jalfrezi ...

First game of the season tomorrow.  Not played for a year.  I hope I remember which end of the bat to hold, I'm assuming the worst!

We lost by 200 runs

On the bright side we're on the ferry home, I'm half cut and it's not even 8pm

Beat top of the league side by 100 runs to keep us in the chase for promotion. We scored 234/5 in 45. I got 42. we bowled them out for 130. Yours truly bowled 3 overs 1 for 6.

Lost by 8 wickets to top of the league. Our division is littered with 1 or 2 man teams and our oppo proved no different. Opening bowler reduced us to 0-3 after 3 overs. He took 5 wickets as we managed 158 in our 45. He came out and bashed 40/50 odd very quickly and they were pretty much there when redders got him out ( rain reduced total of 135). Rest of the oppo seamers could barely land it on the wicket and their batting wasn't anything special. Never mind always next week!

Lost today which puts us out the title race (not that we really cared about it). Got 41 but tbh, it's poor as its another failure to get 50+ after a start. Things to work on this winter !!

Top of the table clash. They have won their first 12 games but we beat them by 53 runs. We batted first ended up on 142 for 9 I top scored with 32 no coming in at 7 my highest league score in this very poor season. We bowled them all out for 89. I managed to get the 9th wicket.

Just a shame I only have 2 more games in August because of work

Played yesterday and managed to sit for 45 overs whilst our openers put on 200, then watched 3 come in and slap a quick 30 to allow us to set 250, we then bowled them 9 down for 207, I managed to get 4-52 off 12 but had the 5th wicket dropped which I was gutted about. Then got a message about 10pm last night saying our oppo for today had to concede so now I'm very hungover
