It will also help if she's reasonably heavily tattooed with a bit of an angry streak and a penchant for punching inanimate metal storage devices.
Have you met his missus then?

If that description is accurate I'm not sure I want to  :D

Yes, he's scored two (out of 10) away from home. Overwhelming evidence in your favour there...

Three actually.

Unless like me you consider South Africa an Aussie home away from home!

Edit: Ooops, I forgot about the 196 in the Windies. So make that 4.

Looks like they might restrict the lead to around 300.

Just imagine how strange it would be if Clarkey & Co. actually came out to bat with the intention of batting for a couple of days and putting on 500 to stand perhaps some chance of staying in the game, I can't imagine it, I don't think they're capable of even trying. It's like when India are under the cosh, it's a waste of time watching them bat. I'll keep half an eye on it in case something incredible happens with the ball again for england but essentially, there's no point waiting to find out what Australia will do, they'll play unecessary hoiks and cuts, chuck their wickets and get it over and done with.

Modify: It's also what England did last ashes down under, to be fair.

Agree 100%.

Simply do not have the mindset to tough it out and not play anything wide of the stumps.

They love to play cute shots. It's fun!

But that is why we are meekly handing over the Ashes.

Buttler's keeping makes Matty Wade look like Ian Healy...

Steven Davies is twice the player Buttler is.

Peter Nevill needs to be told when the ball is fired in at the stumps it's pretty wise to actually hit the ball with the bat. Three times this series he's shoulders arms and been out either bowled or LBW

Yes Steven Davies maybe, but as he's not first choice keeper at Surrey he's got no chance of getting in the England team.
