we had a similar situation last season in a friendly. The oppo batted first on a good deck and the aussie overseas batted/crawled his way to 100 in about 32/33 overs. We stuck on our worst 3 non-cricketers to bowl and thought he would take a hint...he didn't and racked up 170 something not out. Made my blood boil as when he got a 100 they were only 2 down with 7/8 overs to go and they never once considered giving the other guys a bat. Mood wasn't helped when chasing 320 in 40 overs, they put 4 guys on the boundary after 3 overs. Simmy still scored 50 in 6 overs lol, but we were bowled out for 220 in 30 overs.

They've promised no overseas this season and it's a nice spot so all good in the end.

i remember that game. was gutted when i got out i could of got 170 and won us back the game!

allways remember because the keeper goes to me wow is that a hell for leather lol

did its job that day booooooooooom lol

Wouldn't have looked so bad without the 61 extras!

How was there so many bye's?!

The guy keeping thinks he's a keeper, but he's not...
To be fair though, that was probably one of his first games keeping, and the more he does it the better he gets.
At 5p a bye though, it was an expensive game!

Start charging £1 a bye and see if that stops him letting them go past!

Could turn out to be a very expensive day on these wickets at the moment!

Ducks are £1 on a sunday and you have to take home a family of rubber ducks... 2 giant ones and 3 little ones...  They're all currently sitting in my car boot, even though 3 people got ducks in the last game we played!

Have tried to find a scorecard from a few years back in the Leicestershire league, when one of my best mates was playing for a team that had the swapped the first team for the second team in a ruse to keep the second team in their division. Unfortunately my pal and his 2nd XI colleagues playing four divisons higher than they normally would came up against former West Indies A team player Andy Jackman who lost a total of 21 balls on his way to 305* I think!!!

Apparently my mate dropped him as well.......when he was on 291 haha!
