Hook and Southborough are a really weak team. We played them last year and they didn't put up much of a fight and I think both of their adult teams are struggling in their leagues. However he has a decent knock holding that innings together or did he just tee off from the start?

We had a really stong side out that day, but they were very poor.

He was dropped very early on (single figures), but at leas he made a game of it, played fairly sensibly and put the crap stuff away.

They blokes stood at the other end, not really knowing how to play some of the balls. But at the end of the day it was a game of cricket...just shorter than most!!

Don't you just hate it when there's a ringer on the oppo's team >:(

We played against a team with two overseas Sri Lankan's once, the skipper had decided to use our Sunday friendly game as a warm up for their upcoming league championship match. They opened the batting and eventually the rest of their squad started shouting that there's 9 others that came here to play cricket.

Turned up to play Guildford City once, on a Sunday, they had all three of their overseas players (All 1st class/international players) in their top three...

Ashish Bagai (Canada Captain) scored 150* as they put on 400-2.

Glad I was injured and only there to watch... Fun day... ???

A not so cracking run chase by Pedmore 3rd XI a couple of weeks ago

http://pedmore.play-cricket.com/website/results/2382564

When the captain was interviewed in the paper he had this to say, “The worst thing of all, is the umpire missed a wide, so our score should have been four!”

Brilliant!

The guy who made 158 hit 200* in the previous match... he also opened the bowling and had 12 overs! Reckon he got his subs worth?

The guy who made 273 has scored 1400 runs in 14 innings at 177... also gave himself 3 overs!! (averaging 12 with the ball too!)

Reckon they're playing below their standards?!

Looking at it, there oppo are second in the league!!!

if im not mistaken ive played against m gould for Windsor against us, we knew he was Ian gould's son(unless he has 2)

batted and looked very good and bowled fairly lively medium pace but not unplayable quick if you see what I mean

we heard he was on Sussex's books
