How did you go last week?

I saw my little mate Duffy scored a slow 70 against you - however, he is only 15!

Chopped on for a laboured 1, you had a pretty decent opening attack. Your little mate done good, fair play to the lad he played out of his skin, though the skipper sure gave him a hard time for not running hard enough  ???

Yup, the skipper is a loony to run with - I hate running with him, but the little lad is his prodigy and he pushes him hard.

Painful as it may be, can you remember the bowler who got you?

Cade Skelton according to play cricket, picked up a cheap 4-fer. Not a bad young bowler

Game called off before 10am the suns been out since and the ground will be bone dry by 2pm.
Same for my game, and it was dry by 2pm.

Sounds like your groundsman is like ours and hates anyone playing on his pitch

Yup, pretty raw, but pretty brisk.

Don't worry Felix, I've seen you bat, you'll be alright - and I know a bit about batting, as everyone on here will tell you!

67* saturday and then today batted 11 to give others a go.. I think I touched teh ball 6 times in the game fielding.. over £1 per touch :)   Still, team lost to a bunch of kids which was amusing as we batted teh bowlers and bowled the batters.. It's what sundays are about though and was actually more fun than doing it properly and destroying them.

Cheers mate, wasn't the greatest shot but if it's your day you chinese cut those for 4. We played Byfleet 3s on a rec they'd never played on before and imagine they might never want to again. Slowest track you ever saw with biizarre up and down tennis ball bounce.  They got 120 which was over par TBH.  Hard to bat on for anyone but for me, awful - need a bit of pace on the ball.

You get many? Saw you guys won

We made victory look difficult, went from 0-1 to 130-1 and then 145-7 chasing 195. Got there in the end but the middle order is too weak at the moment.

I got 50 odd again but gave it away when we started losing wickets, feel in decent nick tho.

You playing again this week?

Going alright this year, room for improvement but pretty happy so far.

Scored 242 runs in 5 knocks, 31, 32, 86, 16, 77.  @ 48.40

Only bowled once which was yesterday in a league game, cleaned up the oppo's overseas first ball when he was on 60 odd, and got a couple more too :)

Managed 61 on Saturday batting at 3. Also go 1-17 from a few overs. Lost the game by 29 runs. Our opening batsman didn't run at all. Scary when I can outrun my partner. Could have won if we pushed some of those early singles and turned some 1's to 2's

Complete waste of my day, got a proper tfc. Fielded at gully for 43 overs, didn't bat and didn't ball. Touched the ball about 3 times; problem with playing on a bank holiday when a few first teamers drop down to help the team!

Would be, but I'm a clubman at end of day! And I got to witness Soulman in full action keeping!
