Opposition won the toss and elected to bat they went from 60 for 1 to 91 all out which included  21 extras one of our bowlers took 4 consecutive wickets in 4 balls and they were all out in 32 overs which meant we had 57 overs  to score the runs so decided to have batting  practice in the middle  and batted for 28 overs leaving  33 runs to be scored when out we scored  them with 21 overs to spare.

First played second. They (first) were put in and scored 229 all out. we were 2 bowlers down so it was not a bad result. However, one of their players scored a very streaky ton and was dropped 5 times in his innings. We got 200/9 in our 45 overs. I got 41 and was out to a ripper of a one handed catch at deep mid off. Could have sworn it was going all the way. So first stay first and we stay second. I bowled poorly but took a catch at point and threw the stumps down from point to get a run out. So, getting better week on week.

Losing draw today sadly, we lost the toss and got sent out to field on what looked to be a batting track. However a great start saw us have them at 24-4, a very well batted partnership then came and steadied the ship getting them to 144 before getting out. We then starved the guy of strike and out of frustration allowed me to proceed to demolish his off stump. Guys came in a swang like fools and got the to 204 before I came back in to clean up and take the remaining wickets. Finished 10-1-39-3, which I was happy with after bowling 5 overs and not looking like taking a wicket at all. Taking me up to 8 wickets in 4 games this season so far.

Both squads at my club lost today, I didn't play despite being the only 2nd team player besides the captain to bother training for the last fortnite. Not happy, not happy at all.

We lost as well against a team second bottom were second top and they made 186 after only making 46 last weekend,
Reason 6 second team players dropped into their team, spirit of the game and everything,
As for me I hot a Jaffa first ball full i swinging Yorker from one of their second team out for a golden we lost by about 90 runs
But hey ho onto next week to set the record straight

A rare game for me yesterday based on how this season is panning out. Helped our second team to their first win of the season which was a good effort. Our opening bat was 100no, really made the difference. Then is 15 year old son took a 5for. Was some of the best bowling from a junior at this level that I have seen for a while. He was smiling ear to ear! The first won as well so all in all a good club day.

Good team win yesterday; we were invited to bowl first on a grassy track and had a great time for the first 20 overs. Leaving the opposition 45/6. They rallied to 160/9 by the end, and we knocked it off in the 33rd over. 5 wickets down.

Personally some tidy keeping and a long, grinding 25 batting 3.

Good cup win yesterday , team bowled well on a horrendous wicket, restricted oppos to 140, we knocked em off eventually
Made hard work of it really,,I'm still struggling putting poor bowling away, 34 caught. Disappointing really
And the handles gone on my bat

Won by 111 runs today. Ground out 169-6. Once the ball lost its hardness it was difficult to force the pace. Chris got sawn off for 11, redders got bored and holed out for 9, I nudged and cowed 16. Didn't think it was quite enough but they collapsed in a heap to 58 ao. I took 2-12 off 7. Nice to have a comfortable win.
