I'm still yet to train or play, as you can imagine i'm getting increasingly frustrated by this.

Made my first team debut yesterday aged 17, didn't go too well. 2-0-18 and 5 runs and a 110 run loss against Miskin Manor CC.

Very good win yesterday and another 27 points, lost the toss and we were put in first on a shocker, very very muddy, both ends squelched under foot and your bat face looked brown after a couple of hits, made 11 and it was hard going no pace on the ball due to said pitch, we made 123 off of our 46 overs and thought it would be a tough ask and so it proved we bowled them out for 60 odd I took 1-9 off of 3 overs so happy days

Only a friendly today but it was enjoyable. 83* off 55 balls and got to bat with a young lad who got his highest score ever in adult cricket (25*), although having him in meant we were never going to win its great to see his face post game as he loved it. It's what Sunday's are for.

Today was a serious case of déjà vu, bowled 2-42 again, and got a 2nd ball duck again! Seems very familiar

Lost today by 20 odd runs. Took 3-20 and was on a hat trick that probably should of been given. First wicket tickled one to the keeper, next batter edged it to slip. See this little kid coming and gave him a brute of a ball first up. It turned bounced, took his glove, possibly some bat on the way. However by the time it had hit the keeper in the mouth and rebounded into the hands of slip, nobody was entirely quite sure what noise was what! They got 187-6 off 40 and opened the batting getting a nice 20 in a partnership of 69 in 17 overs before playing on. Shame felt really good.

First ever league game for my village club and we won by 8 wickets. They only had 8 players and hit 105 all out after 39 overs. I opened the batting and got 10 trying to clip one off middle stump rather then play straight

LBW for 15. Still not got going yet. However, we won by 25 runs and still have 100% league record. Bowling figure were more impressive, 3-0-2-9. Considering I never bowl in league cricket I was pleased. I love tailenders who back to leg and get bowled off of their pads, makes my leg side line look good. 20/20 knock out tonight against a team 5 or 6 divisions above. Can't see my form/luck changing soon.

Got 59* batting at 3 instead of opening. Was fine to play the new ball on a horrible plugging pitch. The longer the innings progressed the ball got softer and the bowling slower, was hard to get away. Ended 176-7. Ended up losing by 5 wickets due to some horrible bowling. Good to have another hit before getting back to Saturday cricket next week.

Bowled like a drain in our first game (borderline yips!), and only made 8 in my first attempt at converting myself to an opener, we only made 136 and they got them for 5 down.

Second game I made 73 opening, which is my highest score since moving here and switching to astro wickets, however we shelled a heap of catches and failed to defend 186. :(

We had our oppo on Saturday 9-5 and somehow managed to go on to lose the game by 71 runs! I personally contributed a GD as we were skittled for 29, which was my second duck in a row. Played on Sunday desperate to avoid a hattrick of ducks and managed a really scratchy 23.

Had our first league game saturday.  Won the toss and batted, even though it was slightly overcast.  Managed 227 off our 45 overs.  I came in at 8 and promptly went .64W to get us over the 200 mark. The 6 was a well timed punch back over the head that either gives mid on/mid off a catch when I'm not "in form" or goes like a rocket dead straight when I am.  The 4 was a trademark slap through the covers and the dot sent short cover to hospital with a busted McNugget (he opened the batting for them before departing 2nd ball!)...  Got out charging the bowler and was caught behind.

Bowled them out for 51.  After 2 overs, I was wishing we'd have bowled first!  Could have been back in the bar by 4 if we had...

Had a pretty shocking start personally, but in terms of team results 3 from 3.

8 - lbw going over the top, horror decision, 7 - picked out the only man in the deep and 3 on Sat, lbw again, hit it.

Usually have a reasonable attitude towards bad decisions saying they'll balance out etc. But pretty raging if I'm honest!

Bowled a side out for 89 on saturday, opening bowler took all ten wickets. Pretty remarkable to be a part of that.

Will update with a picture of the scorecard when possible but for now...

Got a golden on Saturday >:( made me realise my forward defensive is horrible, what should be my safest shot is my most risky. Debated smashing my bat up and never playing again. Played Sunday and got 52 n.o, including a 6 to get me from 44 to 50 (I didn't realise I was on 44 and the keeper had a missed stumping the ball before) I was probably run out in the 20's I thought I was just in, but the fact I shouted "In" tells you it was a close one.

I know umpires who'd give you out for such a sin, that sort of behaviour belongs in Under 9s cricket!  ;)
