both really mate.

massive step up in standard but i am also struggling to get going as well.

most weeks iv'e been batting 8-9 but then on the od occasion i have been asked to open the batting lol.

i have had 3 golden ducks this year don't think ive ever had 3 in a season before.

some of the balls im getting out to tho are not good enough to be getting me out this is what is frustrating me.
I'm usually really confident when i am batting and i'm not feeling it at the moment so i think this is effecting my game.

had an ok knock in last man stands last night and got t20 2night so hopefully i can pull some form back. But LMS and t20 games are usually poor standard.

i dont think that helps facing 80mph on a sat rarely getting bad balls then on a Monday and Tuesday batting against farmer giles and his 50mph lolly pops

Good to see you tonight

Added to this he has taken up bowling leg spin, bowled a few at me last night!!!

Looked like a loss of confidence with the bat...... Usually top notch aggressor on a Tues. I was waiting to see what Ryans bat went like.

Puts into perspective the standard of a weakening Ponte League

Evening league tonight, at a decent ground, small and batsman friendly and got the number 3 berth.

Rock up to find we only have 9, at least the away team always bats first.

Pad up with newly acquired B3 bat and wearing a pair of strippers for the first time.

12 overs in, score on 110 and first wicket falls. Crossed so at non-strikers end.

Two balls later quick single and pop, hamstring goes.  Run out without facing. Spend 2.5 hours in A&E and now on crutches. Probably a partially torn hamstring but referred to physio.

Season over.

Can't risk injury as running marathon in October.

We get 152 in 20 overs and manage to defend it with 8 players (I didn't field). They got 150 after their 20.

First LMS 50 of the season for me last night but I kept like an absolute drain. Going to jack in the keeping for a few weeks as my body is really starting to struggle and after an injury plagued year last season my main objective was to get through this one unscathed.

Very angry/gutted/frustrated with my cricket club this week.

I haven't had the best season so far with the bat, but currently averaging about 25 and hit 170 odd runs opening up, which makes me the 2nd top run scorer, and I'm currently the top wicket taker for the 1st team bowling leggies.

This week I've been told I've been dropped to the 2's, with a number of young/inexperienced players in the 1st team. Not sure what to make of this, haven't had a real reason why I've been dropped!

Especially frustrating as I turned down 2 offers to be paid to play this year, and even travelled over 100 miles back from Uni for the first 4 games of the season, I chose to stay loyal to my club and this is how they repay me!

i would be angry as well mate.

seems bit harsh.

worth chatting to the selection commity why you have been dropped.

Surely if they feel your not batting well enough you get dropped down the order to maybe 4-5? not dropped to the 2nd team
